Yes, it has been a long time...okay a really long time since I made my last post, but maybe it's because we just aren't that exciting. :-)
Although, we finally made our, long planned, trip to AZ to see a close friend of Brandon's from his church mission in Mexico. The Paylor's are a great family to hang with. The kids all had a play mate 24-7, it was a dream come true for them.

This picture has a cute story: we went to a baseball game and Cami had been watching alot of men walk by with their shirts off because it was so hot. Well, she decided it was a great idea so she removed her's too. Thing is she looked a ton better than 100%of the shirtless guys we saw.

We had a great time! The company was great the weather...PERFECT and we are looking forward to our next trip already.

Oregon Coast Vacation

Our summer vacation this year took us to Oregon. We spent a lot of time in the car, which with three kids in the back seat of an Accord for more than 30 minutes is going to lead to some good times! They were pretty good over all, although we had a few rough moments. We went on several hikes, to a kite festival, the beach, a cheese factory, an aquarium, ate lots of seafood and on the last day Brandon took Macy and Easton deep sea fishing. Which we found out Brandon and Easton have yet develope their sea legs. It was a very long 6 hours on a boat in the middle of an ocean.

There were happy faces before the 6 hour tour and all the sea sickness.

It was so pretty, so green it reminds me of home.

Time for Some Updates!

I know it has been awhile since my last post, so this will be a random group of pics.

First, Easter of course was a hit for the kids. Camden loved the fact that she got to have chocolate for breakfast! SWEET! She is the biggest junk food junkie, Mom is so proud!

Then the kids had the end of the year shows, Macy had a piano recital, Easton had a gymnastics meet and they both had a musical program at school. It has been really busy at our house getting ready for all the events. Thank goodness we only have three.

Finally, Brandon and I ran a half marathon together, his first, which he loved. He is officially converted to running. His goal was to get me to finish under one hour and 50 minutes. He was like my pace car and he did a great job I got a PR of 1:46. It has been fun to run with him and train together, I am just glad I didn't disappoint him. Our ultimate goal is to qualify and run in the Boston Marathon together. (Our friends Kariesa and Cache ran too.)

Does this look like the face of an angel? We love Camden so much she keeps us on our toes and brings so much joy to our lives (and work and patience). This is what happens when mom gets too distracted with things other than Cami. My makeup bag is a disaster waiting to happen when left out on the bathroom sink. I don't know why she was putting it on in the center of her eyes I have yet to put it there myself?! Maybe she didn't want to poke her eye out, good thinking Cami. Mom loves you, my little angel!

Jackson Hole, WY

We took the kids, minus Camden, skiing in Jackson Hole the other week. Macy and Easton loved it. The day was so warm, my kind of skiing, Macy skied half the day without gloves.

They got really comfortable with their abilities by the end of the day. Easton went off a jump came loose from his bindings and flew about 8 feet and knocked the wind out of himself. It took him a minute, with Brandon's encouragement, to get him to catch his breath. The first words he said was "I'm done skiing today dad." We skied to the bottom thinking we were done and he skied back into the lift line, he wanted to keep going. That's my BOY!

I was so happy they had such a good time. We will be back again, next year. For now I just want to see spring flowers and warm sunny days! :-)

Macy's Baptism Day!

Macy turned eight and was baptized this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day and Macy was so excited. I am so proud of her and she is such a good example for her younger brother and sister. We had a great big family party afterward to celebrate. She has such a sweet spirit and she will grow to be a beautiful you lady and I am proud to be her mom. We love you Macy!

Happy Birthday Cami!

Our baby turned 2 on February 1st. Bring on the terrible twos' and potty training! Yeah!
She already thinks she's the boss, so not much will change is the dynamics of our home with having a (now) two year old.

Before we gave her the spoon. I guess we weren't fast enough.

"Finally a shovel!"

She really liked the present part. She had a great day for a two year old.
